It is customary for this History<br \/>\nand Community workshop to be held at places of historical importance every year. In this year<br \/>\nthe workshop was held in Kandy from 24th to 26th of June 2023. Level III semester II students<br \/>\nof the Department of History of the University of Jaffna participated in this workshop.<br \/>\nProfessor Nirmal Ranjith Dewasiri and Dr. Darshi Thoradeniya, Lecturers Ms Nideka Ishani<br \/>\nNanayakkara, Mr. Samal Hemachandra from the University of Colombo and Senior Lecturer<br \/>\nMs. Santhini Arulanantham and Lecturer Ms. Ushanthy Arunpirasanth,
