Cultural Tourism Level II students visited Mullaithivu on 15th of June 2023, for the field visit of CTCH
22033 comprising 25 students and a Lecturer Dr.Arudchelvi Kirupairajah. They met Kalapusanam
Mr.S.Maniyam Annaviyar at Mulliyavalai. They learned about “Mullai Modi Kooththu” from him. In
order to share the experience gained in this filed visit with others, under the guidance of Dr.Arudchelvi
Kirupairajah, the level II Cultural Tourism students of Archaeological Circle of the Department of
History performed traditional arts at the Jaffna University Kailasapathi auditorium on 14th July, 2023
at 1.00 pm on the theme of ‘Eelathu Paarampariya Aattukaikal’ (ஈழத்துப் பாரம்பரிய ஆற்றுகைகள்
).
Vice-Chancellor Senior Professor. S. Srisatkunarajah as Chief Guest and the Dean of the faculty of Arts
Professor. S. Raguram as special guest also participated in this event.
